Job Description

We are seeking a skilled individual to assemble parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components on the truck. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts of the truck accurately following shop orders to install components correctly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components.

• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.

• Follow shop orders to install components correctly.

• Work with blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings to ensure proper assembly.

Essential Skills

• Experience with wiring electronics

• Experience running pipes/plumbing

• Experience with mechanical assembly

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Knowledge of electrical, wiring, and plumbing systems

• Ability to use a tape measure accurately

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical systems

• Proficiency with assembly tasks

• Experience working with shop drawings

Work Environment

You will be working in an open-air manufacturing facility that can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter. The dress code includes the use of steel or composite shoes, which can be purchased with an annual voucher provided by the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, Florida.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
