The Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Developmental Neuroscience in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine invites applications for an academic clinician position as a clinical psychologist. The academic clinician will support our clinical, research, and training activities. Areas of work may include, but are not limited to, the assessment and treatment of a variety of mental and behavioral health difficulties in pediatric populations. Opportunities are available for the practice of individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

The clinical psychologist will be responsible for direct clinical care and teaching and mentoring psychology externs and interns, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows. This position is a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience. We are seeking both early career applicants and those interested in a senior leadership opportunity.
Primary Activities:
This clinical faculty position will include participating in individual- and team-based clinical activities focused on children and families with a range of psychiatric and disorders. Clinical responsibilities will include participation in interdisciplinary evaluations and intervention with children presenting with a wide array of needs. The position also will involve supervision of trainee clinicians, as well as the provision of in-service trainings. Scholarly activities are encouraged and supported.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program and must be licensed to practice in NC (or be license eligible).
