Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,095 per week

Certification Details Required certifications: BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Surgical patients, Medical and cardiopulmonary- CHF, COPD, pneumonia, psych, dementia, COVID, etc. Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:05 Job Details Hospital in Idaho is looking for 2 RN's to start ASAP for 13 weeks in their Float Pool. Primarily working Medical/Surgical but must also float to other areas as needed. Job Requirements Must have experience with post op surgical patients. Must have 1 year of experience. Okay with first time traveler but would like first time traveler to have more than 1 year of experience. Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours, 7-7. No self-scheduling, will try to work with requests. Weekend Requirement: Yes- if there is a need. Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need. Unit Specific Information Unit: MedSurg Magic Valley - Flr 2 Number of Beds: 36 Nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: CNAs 1:8 RT Equipment: CPAP. BiPAP and High flow will be transferred to IMCU or ICU. No tele/monitor techs- Prefer RNs to read and interpret, if unable charge or resource can read. Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge nurse and resource nurse available on unit. Plus House wide med/surg Crisis nurse. Charge does not take assignments. Floating Requirements: Yes to other MedSurg floors. Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Navy Blue and we do not provide uniforms. Orientation: General orientation and 1 shift on the unit. Additional Details This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, candidates' perm address in the submittal must confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
