About this role:
The Marketing Data Strategist for the Peripheral Interventions (PI) division is responsible for conducting deep customer behavior analysis to generate actionable insights that drive critical business decisions and support marketing excellence at Boston Scientific. This strategist will drive effective customer segmentation that will inform several activities including digital marketing campaigns, product launches, and other commercial tactics. Has a passion for diving deep into customer behavior and insights, and able to identify segments and opportunities to more effectively reach those customers through marketing programs. This role will also be a key stakeholder of PI's overall data management strategy, data governance, and data accessibility. Ability to develop relationships with business partners, perform creative analytics and research to develop compelling recommendations, and provide excellent management of his/her projects. Your responsibilities include: Develops and implements structured, practical, fact-based approach to market, customer, and business analysis and strategy development. Establishes strong relationship development/collaboration with product marketing, digital marketing, brand activation, commercial operations and corporate strategy teams. Develops and recommends campaign target lists based on internal and external data sources. Advise and develop data management and governance strategies/processes. Consolidate datasets from multiple data sources into digestible workbooks and summarize information based on unique campaign needs. Utilize strong analytical and quantitative skills to integrate broad corporate/divisional business performance needs into franchise level decision-making and strategic planning Implements marketing strategy processes and sharing knowledge about those processes. Participates in cross-functional, cross-divisional data integration projects Encourages a grass roots paradigm shift on marketing within the BSC organization and influences organizational thinking on Marketing Excellence and digital acceleration.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, economics or healthcare/biomedical. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in consulting, market research, business strategy/analytics, health economics, finance and/or marketing. Experience in diagnosing business problems and developing/implementing solutions. Proven experience combining multiple, disparate datasets to develop insights. Experience with a variety of primary market research methodologies and/or market modeling/analytics Outstanding interpersonal skills including developing relationships in all levels of the organization and indirectly influencing business objectives Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proven analytical skills, with strong attention to detail. Excellent project management skills and experience.
Preferred qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, Amazon S3 Proficient or advanced in SQL Experience with healthcare industry claims data
