Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers via telephone, and/or email to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collects and enters repair orders for services required.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or inquires with appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Update company spreadsheets, logs, or company software.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.

WORK AUTHORIZATION:

This position requires compliance with ITAR requirement. Must be a “U.S. Person” (per ITAR 120.15) and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to protect and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment exposed to potential extremes in temperature.
