About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing company in Howell, NJ.

Job Description

• Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and perform variance analysis to support senior management decision-making.
• Identify and recommend procedural improvements for greater efficiency.
• Work with the Accounting Manager to oversee factory and supplier payments and assist with AR/AP tasks as needed.
• Report key metrics, including daily operations and weekly cash forecasts, so senior financial leadership.
• Collaborate with the sales team to manage the business pipeline.
• Ensure accurate reporting through a deep understanding of accounting processes and the general ledger.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proactive with the ability to anticipate needs and engage professionally with clients.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Certification/advanced degree preferred (CPA, CMA, CFA, MBA)
• Five or more years of related experience preferred.
