Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,348 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details MST / Multi Care Unit - 617170 job opening at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Prescott Valley, Arizona. Job Requirements Will need at least 2 years of ICU experience or 1 year of ICU and 1 year of PCU/Med surg if they have worked in larger facilities with strong skills. RNs are required to titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, insulin. RNs must take 12-lead EKG, monitor ICU patients per bedside cardiac monitor. Experience with ventilator management – RT will support with Vents, BiPap, CPap. Schedule Information 12-hour shifts, 0700/1900 – 1930/0730 Every other weekend requirement Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly If low census, staff rotates standby turns Unit Specific Information Unit handles a combined acuity; ICU: 1:2, PCU: 1:4, MST: 1:5-6 ratio Nurse aids take 10-15 patients or RNs take 3 patients for primary care to PCU & MST Common diagnoses/Types of patients include Sepsis, suicide attempt, respiratory arrest, etc. Additional Details Multi Care Unit Level of care within one unit for all acuities Charge RN manages 50 inpatient beds including MST, PEDS, & Acuity Adaptable MCU unit RNs read strips with Remote Monitor Techs for PCU & MST patients Floating Requirements to EC MST & Pediatric unit, West Campus for ICU & PCU Can wear any scrub color except camouflage
