Job Purpose North American Data Analytics Unit's mission is to identify and resolve field quality problems quickly to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality competitiveness. This position will involve spearheading the development, implementation, and management of the Data Analytics and BI systems which support the quality investigations and reporting across North America. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leveraging data and technology to enhance customer satisfaction, drive business growth, and optimize operational efficiency across various regional and global Honda companies.
Key Accountabilities Utilize technologies like Qlik, PowerBI, Excel, and VBA to develop comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights for decision-making. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and gather their data requirements. This involves translating business needs into technical specifications. Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to use BI tools and interpret data reports effectively. This includes creating user manuals and other documentation. Provide ongoing support for BI tools and systems. This includes troubleshooting any issues that arise and implementing necessary updates or enhancements. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data reports and dashboards. This involves performing regular data validation and cleaning tasks. Continually evaluate the effectiveness of data analysis processes and tools and recommend improvements as necessary. This could involve exploring new BI technologies or methodologies.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years in data analytics and systems implementation and management. Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology projects on time. Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, VBA, and/or Qlikview, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to data privacy, security, and compliance. Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business innovation and improve customer experiences.
