HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager for a Chemical Manufacturing Plant in Detroit, Michigan. Salary:$90K-$120K Full Benefits Package Key Responsibilities: EHSS Responsibilities: Compliance Management: Uphold the standards of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care Management System to maintain health, safety, and environmental excellence. Policy Enforcement: Ensure all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) policies, guidelines, and standards are strictly adhered to and enforced within the maintenance department. OSHA Adherence: Comply with OSHA Process Safety Management program requirements (29 CFR 1910.119). EPA Compliance: Ensure adherence to the EPA Risk Management Program (40 CFR Part 68). DHS Regulations: Comply with the DHS Appropriations Act of 2007 CFATS program requirements. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the maintenance department meets all other applicable regulatory requirements. Incident Management: Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and enhance safety practices. Training and Education: Complete and deliver necessary training to ensure the maintenance team is well-informed about safety protocols and procedures. Audit and Corrective Actions: Participate in safety audits and ensure the timely completion of corrective actions to address any identified deficiencies. Job-Specific Responsibilities: Department Oversight: Ensure the safety, quality, and productivity of the maintenance department. CMMS Utilization: Oversee the effective use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline maintenance activities and monitor performance. Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance planning and scheduling to minimize equipment downtime. Mechanical Integrity: Maintain a robust Mechanical Integrity Program to ensure the reliability and safety of all critical equipment. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause failure analysis to identify and address underlying issues affecting equipment performance. Equipment Management: Develop and implement strategies for managing and maintaining critical equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability. Shutdown Management: Plan and manage plant shutdowns, ensuring minimal operational disruption and efficient project execution. Preventive Maintenance: Ensure the timely and effective completion of preventive maintenance work orders to support continuous operation and equipment reliability. Qualifications Specific Job Requirements Safety Standards: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining excellent safety standards. CMMS Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization. Maintenance Best Practices: Solid background in maintenance management best practices and strategies. Chemical Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility or a similar industrial environment.
