Lead Software Project Engineer

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be the IPT Leader for Honeywell Anthem Display Services and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical and tactical execution. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. Key Responsibilities -Global Project Methodology -Technical leadership -Project planning and execution -Design automation technical solutions -Feature Definition U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization Li-Hybrid YOU MUST HAVE: -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics -8-10 years of Engineering and/or in Aerospace or Avionics systems/software development experience WE VALUE: -Business acumen – knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry, including Earned Value and Program Management fundamentals -Diverse and global teaming and collaboration -Strong management operating system that facilitates communication -Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development. -Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers -Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives. -Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches -Skill in leading through influence and strong communication skills Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
