Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions (Formerly Accounting Principals) has partnered with one of the leading Medical Manufacturers in Addison, TX to hire a Senior Accountant on a contract basis with a hybrid schedule ASAP. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of full-cycle Technical GAAP Accounting, advanced strong excel, SAP, and comfortable in a fast paced environment. Apply now Responsibilities: Full-cycle GAAP Accounting Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, including highly complex accounts. Manage the sales commissions and incentive compensation processes by reviewing and analyzing sales data, ensuring timely and accurate payments in accordance with contracts, preparing related journal entries, and reconciling commission and incentive compensation-related accounts. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, explaining variances and identifying trends to department managers across the business. Reconcile GL accounts monthly, including resolving outstanding items. Prepare and disseminate routine and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, utilizing complex spreadsheets as needed. Interpret financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and submit reports and/or recommendations to management.
