The Middle Market Fund is investing out of their fourth fund of $5.6billion, focusing on controlled equity investments in under managed and/or stressed U.S. middle market companies, possessing a clear and differentiated value proposition Our differentiated investing approach leverages operational, financial, and strategic initiatives to create value throughout our investment horizon. Vice Presidents at H.I.G. Private Equity take a leading role in the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and financing of transactions as well as in the monitoring of portfolio companies. Our investment professionals work on small deal teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. They have consistent interaction with senior members of the firm as well as the senior management of our portfolio companies. Vice Presidents have a significant level of responsibility from the outset of their career at H.I.G. This is a partner track position for top performers. For this role, we are specifically looking for 2023 or 2024 graduates. Key responsibilities Evaluate merits and risks of potential investments. Lead and coordinate the diligence process. Oversee business analysis. Manage and provide leadership to Associates. Bring financing partners into transactions. Contribute to contract negotiations and documentation. Develop growth and value creation strategies as a Board Member. Play significant role in sale processes. Primary Qualifications Prior private equity experience. Superior academic achievement at a top tier undergraduate and MBA program is required. Strong quantitative and qualitative business analysis skills and ability to provide oversight and guidance to Associates for financial modeling and business analysis. Based on total capital commitments managed by H.I.G. Capital and affiliates. The target annual base salary for this role based on the candidate's background is $200,000-225,000. Base salary is one component of the firm's competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other long-term incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
