Job Tit le: Client Support Location: Baltimore MD 21230 (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension) Pay Range is $20 to $21.33/hr. on W2 Job Description: Required: 4 year, Bachelor Degrees Professional experience isnt requirednew graduates with relevant skills from internships, teamwork, or projects are encouraged to apply. Hybrid: 3 days on site (days on site based on business need) and requires flexibility as some weeks could be 5 days on site (ie. training and onboarding). Oversee the end-to-end processing of mandatory corporate actions, including setup, validation, election, payment, and reconciliation. Ensure all actions are processed accurately and within required deadlines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various business units, including Prime Brokerage, Financial Controllers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless processing of corporate actions. Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external clients for any inquiries related to corporate actions. Inquiries Management: Respond to and resolve a high volume of inquiries from internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication. External Interface: Interface with external corporate action data providers, counterparties, industry utilities, and third-party service providers to obtain and verify action details, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all events. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and scrutinize day-to-day processes, technology platforms, and workflows. Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and operational improvements, implementing solutions to streamline corporate action processing. System Testing & Coverage: Participate in system testing for new corporate action functionalities and system upgrades. Contribute to expanding the coverage and service offerings of the corporate actions team in response to evolving business needs. Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in corporate actions processing, ideally in a financial services environment. Strong knowledge of mandatory corporate actions, including events such as stock splits, dividends, mergers, and acquisitions Technical Skills: Proficiency with corporate action processing systems, as well as general financial services technology platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate data efficiently. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Ability to handle high volumes of inquiries and provide clear, accurate responses. Problem-Solving & Process Optimization: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify process inefficiencies.
