Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Tempe, AZ Job Type: Full-time, Onsite Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Tempe, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and performing various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Assist with tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Handle any other accounting-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
