Our client, a marketing and advertising agency in LA, is looking for an Account Director for a 2-month contract starting in January. In this role, you will lead strategic planning and execution for a telecom client, ensuring the delivery of innovative, results-driven marketing solutions. As a trusted advisor to clients, you will cultivate and grow relationships, align marketing strategies with business objectives, and oversee the development of high-performing campaigns. With at least seven years of agency experience, you bring a track record of success in managing complex projects and teams, a passion for digital innovation, and a client-focused approach that drives measurable results.
This is a hybrid 40-hour/week freelance position and requires 3-days/week onsite in Playa Vista.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships. Develop and execute strategic plans for digital marketing and CRM campaigns that meet clients' business objectives. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations. Lead internal cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and analytics, to execute campaigns effectively. Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize outcomes and enhance ROI. Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships and drive revenue growth through additional services and offerings. Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and resource allocation align with project needs. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant innovations into client strategies. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Qualifications:
7+ years of experience working in a marketing and advertising agency, with a focus on digital and CRM campaigns. Proven ability to lead and manage high-value client accounts with a track record of exceeding expectations. Strong understanding of CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and campaign analytics. Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client goals into actionable plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus. Passion for delivering innovative, data-driven marketing solutions that achieve measurable business outcomes.
