Our client, a marketing and advertising agency in LA, is looking for an Account Director for a 2-month contract starting in January. In this role, you will lead strategic planning and execution for a telecom client, ensuring the delivery of innovative, results-driven marketing solutions. As a trusted advisor to clients, you will cultivate and grow relationships, align marketing strategies with business objectives, and oversee the development of high-performing campaigns. With at least seven years of agency experience, you bring a track record of success in managing complex projects and teams, a passion for digital innovation, and a client-focused approach that drives measurable results.

  • This is a hybrid 40-hour/week freelance position and requires 3-days/week onsite in Playa Vista.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for digital marketing and CRM campaigns that meet clients' business objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and analytics, to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize outcomes and enhance ROI.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships and drive revenue growth through additional services and offerings.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and resource allocation align with project needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant innovations into client strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience working in a marketing and advertising agency, with a focus on digital and CRM campaigns.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage high-value client accounts with a track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and campaign analytics.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client goals into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Passion for delivering innovative, data-driven marketing solutions that achieve measurable business outcomes.
