Director of Marketing
to lead our diverse marketing efforts aimed at driving growth in the cutting-edge field of Internet of Things (IoT) and AI. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, with support from the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, to develop and execute holistic go-to-market plans. This is a hybrid position with both work from home/in-office work based out of our headquarters in Indianapolis, IN (specifically Carmel) reporting directly to the
President & Chief Commercial Officer . Travel is anticipated to be approximately 5% of your time. Job Responsibilities Integrated Marketing Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that leverages digital platforms like LinkedIn, email, and the company website Content Development: Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Coordinator to produce and distribute engaging content, such as blogs, case studies, webinars, and newsletters, to drive lead generation and audience engagement Social Media & Email Campaigns: Oversee social media and email strategies, including content calendars, engaging posts, newsletters, and segmented campaigns, while analyzing performance metrics for optimization Branding & Collateral: Lead the creation of branded materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and sales collateral, ensuring consistency with company standards Website Management Regularly update website content, including project portfolios, case studies, and press releases, ensuring accuracy and relevance for all audiences Analyze website analytics to inform SEO strategies and improve user experience Customer Engagement & Success Stories:
Partner with the sales team to develop compelling customer success stories and case studies for use across multiple channel Event & Tradeshow Participation:
Research, attend, and represent Mesh Systems at relevant tradeshows and events to stay informed about industry trends, strengthen brand visibility, and generate leads Vendor and Subcontractor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors/subcontractors for specialized marketing needs, including graphic design, content creation, and lead generation services Requirements 5–10 years of experience in B2B technology marketing Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams Demonstrated success in creating diverse content types such as articles, blogs, case studies, and multimedia content Strong ability to integrate SEO, SEM, email marketing, and analytics into marketing strategies, including recognizing when to engage external expertise Experience launching and managing campaigns in HubSpot and proficiency in utilizing an integrated marketing tech stack Proven ability to analyze campaign performance data to influence and optimize future marketing efforts Expertise in planning and launching digital marketing campaigns focused on email marketing, organic social media, and (potentially) paid advertising strategies Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing activities at tradeshows, webinars, or industry events to generate leads Desired Skills & Attributes Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and demand generation Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar design tools) Experience managing and updating WordPress websites A forward-thinking mindset with a willingness to adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools for content creation and optimization NO AGENCY APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED Benefits About Mesh Systems Mesh Systems is an Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions Software and Services company that helps enterprises achieve digital transformation.
