Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, driving financial performance and supporting the company's aggressive growth strategy within the services industry. This role is finance-centric, focusing on capital structure optimization, forecasting, strategic planning, and M&A execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial leadership within SaaS or technology-driven companies and possess the ability to navigate private equity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Partner with the executive team to establish financial goals and develop long-term strategies aligned with business objectives.
Provide strategic guidance on scaling operations, managing growth, and optimizing profitability.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to deliver actionable insights for decision-making. Oversee the preparation of dashboards, KPIs, and financial reports to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
Capital Structure and Fundraising: Manage the company’s capital structure, ensuring optimal debt and equity positioning. Work with private equity partners to assess and secure funding for growth initiatives.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration for acquisitions to drive inorganic growth. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate target companies and integrate acquired entities.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with operational teams to identify cost-saving initiatives and enhance productivity. Support SaaS metrics analysis, including ARR, churn, LTV/CAC ratios, and customer retention metrics.
Governance and Stakeholder Relations: Present financial performance and forecasts to the Board of Directors and private equity stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including a CFO or senior FP&A role. Proven track record in SaaS or subscription-based businesses, with a strong grasp of SaaS metrics. Extensive private equity experience, including fundraising and board-level reporting. Expertise in financial modeling, data-driven decision-making, and M&A transactions. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required. Competencies: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. Exceptional communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience driving change and scaling finance teams in high-growth environments. Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in fast-paced settings.
