Head of International Americas

Our client is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) leader to oversee operations and business development for the International Americas division, spanning the US and LATAM regions. Based in Hempstead, NY, this role involves managing P&L, driving growth in freight forwarding and logistics, building agent networks, and fostering strategic relationships with clients and suppliers. The position reports to the Managing Director and collaborates closely with leadership across regions to ensure operational excellence and market expansion. Primary Responsibilities: Responsibility for P&L of US & LATAM operations with locations in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Argentina and Chile Experience with international networking, marketing, and freight forwarding Focus on the development of all product lines in the region Identify new regional opportunities by developing new markets for existing clients and other Company divisions, as well as by developing new clients in those newly developed markets Strong focus on setting up and managing agent network for the International Americas division Business development includes optimizing service set-up with existing or new service providers. Contact partner for other company divisions for operational, security and pricing queries regarding destinations operated by agents Build up and maintain relationships with relevant suppliers (airlines, security, and forwarding agents). Performing security audits and implementing and monitoring agreed operational procedures with agents and other 3rd party providers to ensure security compliance. Management of certain projects as defined by the Company. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proven leadership experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management Demonstrated success in P&L management across multiple locations and regions Strong operational and sales expertise, with a focus on business development and market expansion Experience building and managing agent networks, including operational, security, and pricing relationships Ability to conduct security audits and ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards Excellent management skills for negotiating with customers, agents, and partners Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sales skills and senior-level sales experience Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets independently Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on fostering client relationships Highly organized and detail-oriented in managing and documenting projects and operations Qualifications: Experience with freight forwarding, required Fluency (read/write/speak) in English and Spanish, required Experience managing a P&L of $30M or higher, required Experience managing total headcount of 80+ people, required Location:

Salary range is $175,000 - 195,000; depending on skill set, experience, and competency in operational leadership roles. The position is bonus eligible up to 30% annually based on individual and company performance.
