Accounting Manager

Currently, StaffBright has an exciting Accounting Manager opportunity in Erie, Pennsylvania We are seeking individuals with 3–5 years of accounting experience, including leadership in a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire role with competitive pay up to $125K 10% bonus. What You Will Be Doing In this vital role, you will partner with the Vice President of Finance to oversee and manage general accounting functions, including cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. You’ll also handle key areas of cash/treasury management, financial reporting, and forecasting. Responsibilities include: Managing cash reporting, bank reconciliations, and cash flow analysis. Leading accounts receivable and payable teams to ensure timely processing of transactions. Collaborating with customers on collections and vendors on payment resolutions. Ensuring accurate month-end close processes, including GL and account reconciliations. What We Need From You To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred). 3–5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or related industries. Leadership or management experience. Expertise in month-end close processes, cash reporting, AR, inventory, and bank reconciliations. All-Star Skillset The ideal candidate will also have: CPA designation (strongly preferred). Background in public accounting combined with corporate manufacturing experience.
