OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
Conduct monthly general ledger reviews and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate records that support financial health and decision-making.
Maintain detailed records of fixed assets, tracking depreciation and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Assist with closing processes each month, preparing reports and verifying data to keep financials current and precise.
Participate in preparing for year-end audits, gathering necessary documentation, and working with auditors to demonstrate commitment to transparency and accuracy.
Compile and prepare a range of financial reports, providing insights that support data-driven decision-making across teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT
:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
3-5 years in accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel with functions like filtering, PivotTables, and VLOOKUP); MAS500 experience is a plus.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
