About us Cyvl is a Boston-based tech startup revolutionizing how governments assess and manage transportation infrastructure. About the role Join Cyvl as a Software Intern for Summer 2025 and gain hands-on experience with our tech stack while contributing to real production systems. Interns in the past have worked with many different parts of our whole process: writing embedded systems code that collects data, writing Python code that runs in our cloud processing, and some frontend code that displays our results to our end customers. Responsibilities for this role depend on the skillset and projects chosen for the duration of the summer. Qualifications Currently working towards a B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or advanced degree in a relevant engineering program. Experience in Python and/or C++ Good academic standing Can commit to at least a 12-week internship Ability to relocate to the Boston, MA area for the duration of the internship Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organized and self-sufficient Interested in learning and working on problems in any of the following areas: Robotics Fullstack Development Perception Systems / Computer Vision Machine Learning Cloud computing Bonus points Experience with HTML / CSS / JS or other web development technologies/frameworks Experience with 3D graphics (Three.js, WebGL, etc.) Experience working with geospatial data Familiar with common AWS services What we offer Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and innovative work culture with a tight-knit team
