Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Social Media Manager with a passion for gaming and pop culture that has a background working for or with culture-defining consumer products (FMCG/CPG) and/or retail brands. In this role, you will partner with our licensing, consumer products and beyond the game team(s) to create social strategy and creative campaigns that engage clients' fans on social media platforms and promote partnerships with third-party Ips (e.g., Burberry, Lacoste, LEGO, Mattel, Kellogg's, and more). This role reports to the client's Head of social media and its primary responsibility is to strategize, write and create content for client collaborations. You'll also manage content calendars, scheduling, and posting on our channels, as well as monitoring analytics and creating reports reporting. You'll work closely with marketing, community, product, and external partners, so cross-functional experience in large, matrixed organizations is required. We are seeking an energetic, creative self-starter with superb communication skills. Other competencies include a familiarity with client (preferred but not required), understanding of current social media trends, and ability to skillfully drive community growth and engagement. Scope Of Work
Design and implement breakthrough "beyond the game" social media strategies and campaigns that creatively connect our diverse and global audience with our external/collaboration partners in a social-first, engaging way. Ensure that consumer products/partner co-created content is aligned with client overarching brand, tone of voice, and social strategy. Define consumer product social media priorities, goals and targets are aligned to business goals and audience insights. Provide strategic recommendations and support for client Creative Team in conceptualization and execution of assets for social media. Host content ideation and team brainstorms, often with our partners' social teams. Ideate and publish social content and engage with audiences. Curate user generated content and identified potential influencers, creators, and customer voices to highlight and work with. Track and report on channel and content performance, setting benchmarks and contributing to campaign reporting dashboards. Required Skills
3-5+ years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation CPG and/or Retail experience, either direct or via a creative agency, is required. Experience working in the gaming sector is a plus, but CPG and/or Retail background is mandatory. Experience managing high volume social media channels for a well-known brand or product, ideally a brand that is considered to be at the forefront of culture. Understanding of community engagement and audience strategy Familiarity using data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels, and report and communicate channel performance results. Excellent collaboration, copywriting, and communication skills. English language. Competent with Office 365 and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Sprout Social and native social media analytics experience preferred)
