We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure operation of our technological infrastructure. This includes managing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to networking, helpdesk services, and various software applications. Your expertise in security systems, onsite hosting, and intrusion detection testing will be crucial in maintaining our firm's security posture.

Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking and helpdesk services
• Manage various software applications, ensuring their efficient and secure operation
• Utilize your expertise in security systems, onsite hosting, and intrusion detection testing to maintain our firm's security posture
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Develop and implement security administration strategies
• Use your skills in network configuration and desktop hardware to support our technology infrastructure
• Employ your knowledge of the Salesforce platform and Configuration Management Database (MDB) to manage customer data and applications.• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Security Specialist or a related role.
• Proficient in Security Administration and Networking.
• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware and Salesforce Platform is required.
• Experience with Configuration Management Database (MDB) is essential.
• Knowledge of Network Configuration is a must.
• Comptia A+ certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• A commitment to continuous professional development is expected.
• Familiarity with current IT security trends and ongoing developments in the field is required.
