As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients seeking routine health check-ups or critical health insights. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient Interaction: Building rapport with patients, explaining procedures clearly, and creating a positive and reassuring environment.
- Phlebotomy: Accurately and efficiently drawing blood samples from patients of all ages, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
- Specimen Processing: Preparing and labeling blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Phlebotomy Skills: Proven ability to perform venipuncture and capillary draws on diverse patient populations.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of samples.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in specific states).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is a plus.
