Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeContract Duration: 3+ MonthsWork Type: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMLocation: Little Elm, TXJob Description:Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II and play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and create a welcoming and trusting environment for patients.Key Responsibilities: Accurately perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Prepare and process blood specimens for lab testing. Adhere to established practices and procedures. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image. Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Provide excellent customer service and build trust with patients. Be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and safety guidelines. Make informed decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Travel to multiple locations and work in various settings (Patient Service Centers, in-office phlebotomy). Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, adaptability to change, and knowledge of the business.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment. Keyboard/data entry experience.
