We are in the search for a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. The role will involve managing financial records, handling accounts payable, and carrying out general accounting duties. This is a significant role in maintaining our financial integrity and accuracy.


Responsibilities:


• Handle accounts payable using MS Dynamics and Bill.com.

• Assist with payroll operations.

• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain precise records of all customer credit.

• Take responsibility for answering phone calls in the absence of the receptionist.

• Prepare journal entries under the supervision of the Controller.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing.

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central for various accounting tasks.

• Regularly report to the controller, providing updated financial information.

• Adhere to the industry standards and regulations while performing all tasks.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role or related field
• Proficiency in account reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Experience in billing and invoice processing
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Experience working with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Knowledge of bill.com usage for business transactions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
