Accounting Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our clients construction services company. The Accounting Manager will ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions, manage financial reporting, and support project accounting needs. This role requires a proactive professional with a strong understanding of construction accounting and excellent leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and job cost accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Manage project accounting, including job costing, WIP (work-in-progress) schedules, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with leadership to align financial goals.
- Assist with audits, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication abilities with a focus on collaboration and leadership.
