About the Role
As Senior Project Accounting Analyst, you will contribute to the success and growth of our company by serving as a bridge between the Finance team and the Operations team. You will act as the subject matter expert in project and cost accounting, revenue recognition, and specialized project. You will report to the Global Financial Controller.

Job Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable: ensure all invoices are accounted for, prepare regular payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
- Invoice customers in an accurate and timely manner. Initially support and ultimately take responsibility for invoicing customers.
- Update and reconcile Intaact daily for all bank movements.
- Evaluate transactions and records to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete.
- Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations.
- Support and participate in timely and accurate month end process to include completion of basic balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis and reporting.
- Ensure accurate coding of costs in Intaact.
- Adopt an agreed-upon expense system and processes.
- Support the Financial Controller in processing the semi-monthly payroll. Timely collation of required data and processing of payroll.
- Process employee credit card applications and expenses.
- Liaise with budget holders and employees on expenditure and budget / invoice queries.
- Support internal customers and maintain / update current financial information.
- Run regular reports from the finance system to support accurate and timely reporting for the leadership team and budget holders.
- Respond to queries in relation to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience with project and cost accounting
- Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Must have an aptitude for dealing with and mastering new computer applications
- Proven attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Organized and autonomous
- Able to take ownership of problems and apply creative solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Possess initiative and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills
Bonus Experience:
- Experience working for a company in professional services, technology, or a similar field
Additional Details:
- Eligibility to live and work in the US with high fluency in English.
- Passport recommended to be able to visit our headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland
- Be able to access the Littleton office on a regular basis and when required
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and reference check during the onboarding process.
