The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and implementing goals for hospice services, driving the operation of the facility, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the mission of providing conscientious, humane care to patients. This pivotal role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and handling all aspects of the organization's operations, including compliance with federal and state guidelines. The Executive Director will also be responsible for public relations, events, and maintaining a strong, compliant, and effective team. Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director position at the company must have a current RN license and a minimum of 3 years' healthcare and 5 years' leadership experience, with a preference for those with hospice leadership at the executive director level. The role requires a candidate with a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities include ensuring the employment of qualified individuals, providing oversight for hospice operations, and maintaining departmental budgets. The ideal candidate will have a background in business development and proven growth capabilities, as well as the ability to coach and support the hospice team. Compliance with all relevant regulations and the ability to be immediately available for on-site or telephone support are also essential.
