About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director with a background in hospice care to lead and supervise all aspects of patient care, professional staff and allied health personnel activities, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and quality assurance improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the agency meets all relevant regulations, laws, and policies, particularly those related to hospice and Medicare/Medicaid. This role involves direct oversight of daily operations, acting as the Care Management Process driver, and being actively engaged in the QAPI planning and processes. The Executive Director will also be expected to review financial results to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a cost-effective manner and to be available on-site during business hours, as well as after hours, as needed. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a relevant license or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' documented success in a related field, and at least 1 year of full-time experience in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare delivery system setting. A current CPR certification, driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation are also required. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' of healthcare leadership experience and be adept at creating and implementing strategies that drive best-in-class care for patients and families. The role demands a leader who is flexible, can engage with diverse teams, and is committed to career and leadership development.
