About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for a Hospice RN role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of patient care, professional staff and allied health personnel activities, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and quality assurance improvement activities. This leadership position involves engaging with diverse teams, creating strategies for best-in-class patient and family care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and policies. The Executive Director will also be involved in the daily operations of the agency, including care management processes, and will be expected to be immediately available on-site or by telephone as needed. Candidates for the Executive Director position must meet specific education and experience requirements. This includes being a licensed physician, registered nurse, or social worker, or having a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of documented success in a relevant field and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in a hospice, home health, or other healthcare delivery system setting. A current CPR certification, driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of healthcare leadership experience and be adept at participating in QAPI planning, processes, and improvement action plans. The role demands a dedicated professional who can ensure that quality patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner and who is committed to the mission of the hospice.
