The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its newly established Center for Civics, Culture, and Workforce Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for operationalizing the Center's mission and vision, with a focus on developing curriculum related to the historical ideas, traditions, and texts that have shaped the American constitutional order and society, as well as the United States Armed Forces. This role involves creating educational programs that meet the workforce needs of the local defense community and fostering strong relationships between the Center and the military. The Executive Director will also be tasked with hiring and managing staff, overseeing curriculum development, and creating innovative educational and collaboration opportunities for students and faculty. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Center for Civics, Culture, and Workforce Development should have an advanced degree in a relevant discipline, with a preference for a terminal degree, and 8-10 years' of experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education, particularly in curricular development and administration, and a demonstrated commitment to the Center's mission. Essential skills include leadership, administrative ability, and excellent communication. Preferred qualifications include a record of working with the United States Armed Forces, knowledge of military service recognition for academic credit, and experience in academic partnerships with the military.
