About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission-driven organization, which has a long-standing history of providing support and services to individuals affected by brain injuries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, including staff supervision, program development, financial oversight, and legislative advocacy. Key priorities for the role include closely managing finances, increasing resources through donor and grant development, and raising the visibility of the organization's mission. The Executive Director will also be tasked with building strong community relationships, assessing staffing needs, and cultivating a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned nonprofit leader with a proven track record in strategic management, program development, and fundraising. They should have a solid understanding of nonprofit finances, experience in growing and sustaining a strong board of directors, and a passion for the mission of the organization. Strong advocacy skills, including the ability to work at the legislative level, and a background in a related field such as human services, disabilities, or rehabilitation, are essential. The role requires a compassionate and approachable leader with excellent communication skills, who can effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from government officials to brain injury survivors and their families.
