Commercial Legal Counsel , and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide. Supporting our legal activity across North America, this role would likely suit someone with previous in-house experience, but could be suitable for a first-mover to industry with suitably strong commercial contracting exposure. This is a hybrid (3 Days PW) opportunity at our corporate office in Boston, MA.

You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe. Your Mission Reporting to the VP, Legal Affairs, you will provide legal advice, support, and guidance on commercial, sales, and contract processes across North America. Overseeing the contract lifecycle process, including planning, collaboration, negotiation, execution, and coordination of the signing process for contracts and other legal documents. Support Sales & Business Development teams with their contract processes as we pursue commercial growth across North America. Use your knowledge of commercial law to provide drafting, negotiation, and business counsel to support key commercial transactions, drive projects to completion, and help mitigate legal or business risk. Where suitable, add knowledge of healthcare law, technology IP, or data protection to further support or enhance legal commercial processes. To be best set for success, we see you bringing: 3-5 Years PQE, Qualified Lawyer in the US. Previous ownership of commercial processes including contract management, client negotiation, and drafting. Any industry experience related directly to revenue-generating/commercial contracts is valuable, but industry experience within Software/SaaS or Healthcare/Life Sciences is highly sought. Knowledge of healthcare laws and data protection/privacy is highly valuable (Sunshine law, Anti-kickback statute, False claims act, bribery act, HIPAA).
