Senior Manager / Associate Director, Platform Product Development
for our
SOPHiA DDM Platform genomics module and add-on modules across somatic and germline applications , and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide. Ideally, you will be in proximity to our Switzerland (Rolle) or US (Boston) Corporate offices on a hybrid work-schedule, however suitably qualified candidates can be considered on a remote basis across EU5 or the US-North East. Due to high collaboration and team structure within Europe, this role
wouldn't
suit someone working remotely from the US West Coast or Central states. Your mission Reporting to the Senior Director, Platform Product Management, you will own the complete commercial lifecycle of the SOPHiA DDMTM Platform genomics module and add-on modules portfolio. You will combine technical and commercial ability to ensure product growth. The value you bring Act as a true champion and commercial owner of the SOPHiA DDMTM Platform genomics module and add-on modules portfolio. Comprehensive lifecycle management – Encompassing inception, development, review, optimization, and eventual sunsetting of software products across our somatic and germline portfolios. Commercial ownership – Pricing structure, Market analysis, product delivery models and financial forecasting. Act as the central control hub between Sales, Marketing, Product Development and all others involved in the lifecycle and deployment of the portfolio. Partner closely with our Clinical Sales and BioPharma Diagnostics teams to help build and develop a commercial product portfolio that meets customer demands. To be best set for success, we see you bringing: Minimum of 4 years experience within Product Management or industry experience in Software development or Life-Science management consulting. Direct knowledge of clinical genomics – either somatic or germline - is critical, and previous experience within genomics applications or software development in health tech is advantageous. Clinical application knowledge of various NGS workflows required. Strong commercial acumen, with past experience in market analysis and financial forecasting. Entrepreneurial spirit and solution-oriented mindset with ability to quickly develop peer-to-peer working relationships across departments. MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar.
