The Entry Level Event Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events hosted or sponsored by [Company Name]. This role involves assisting with logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site event management to ensure that each event aligns with the company’s standards and goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about building memorable experiences for clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning Support: Assist with the pre-event planning, including site selection, budget tracking, and schedule coordination.
Vendor and Client Coordination: Help communicate with vendors, clients, and team members to confirm event requirements and logistics.
Logistical Support: Organize materials, supplies, and equipment needed for events. Coordinate shipments, setup, and breakdown as required.
On-Site Event Assistance: Provide hands-on support during events, including registration, attendee management, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Post-Event Follow-up: Assist with collecting feedback, compiling event reports, and ensuring event materials are properly stored or returned.
Administrative Duties: Complete related administrative tasks, such as data entry, record keeping, and reporting on event outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous event experience is advantageous but not required.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and handle various tasks under supervision.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for long periods during event setups and on-site support.
