Private Equity is the largest specialized industry group in the Bank.East West Bank is currently seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst in our Private Equity banking group. The Sr. Credit Analyst will work with the team’s Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to perform due diligence, underwrite new credit facilities and to monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, monitoring loan covenants, and processing advances and paydowns.
Responsibilities
Work with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to prepare credit memorandums for senior management,
with comprehensiveanalysis,
for prospective and existing clients
Assist with portfolio management, including reporting monitoring and updating internal reportsand compliance programs
Support senior officers in all aspects of underwriting and closing deals and managing existing relationships.
Respond to client requests from client private equity firms
Complete special projects as needed for other team members and senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or concentration in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Current college senior or recent graduate with 1-3 years of experience, ideally with credittraining or experience in financial modeling and analysis
Strong writing and communication skills are critical
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $85,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
