Duties and Responsibilities for Part Time Office Assistant:
Your duties may include any of the following:
- Coordinating various stages of construction projects including scheduling/dispatching crews, creating work orders, preparing documents and other administrative duties
- Answering phones
- Position requires customer contact, both in person and on telephone
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors using telephones
- Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service
- Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
- Performs clerical tasks, such as emails or other correspondence, filing
- Operates office equipment and completes general office work
- If has the experience, will assist with AP/AR and Invoicing
- Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful
- Excellent communication
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to problem solve
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and stay calm under pressure
- Motivated with a strong work ethic
- Data Entry
- High attention to detail
- Type at least 40 wpm
- Work as a team member
- Proficient in Word/Excel
- Quickbooks experience preferred but not necessary
- Temp to Hire
- Mon-Fri 7am-3:30 pm FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING within said hours
- Ideally it would be 4-5 hours (any time during the day would be fine) 5 days a week
- Offering about 25 hours a week
- $18-20/hr Depending on Experience
