Whip Media is hiring a Vice President of Sales based in Los Angeles responsible for leading Whip Media's ambitious revenue growth strategy. This VP of Sales will be a

focused on driving new business while also expanding relationships with Whip Media’s existing portfolio of top companies in the media and entertainment industry. Utilize all available AI tools to enhance the ability to discover opportunities, formulate aggressive business plans, and target marketing strategies for growth. New Business Procurement & Upselling to Existing Customers Hunt for new clients across media, entertainment, and adjacent industries, while expanding revenue opportunities within Whip Media’s existing high-profile accounts. Develop Key Relationships:
Build and nurture relationships across all levels including senior decision-makers across accounts, creating MEDDPICC plans for all new opportunities. Effective Prospecting Plans:
Develop detailed prospecting plans creating your own and using Whip Media resources, such as TAM, ICP, and account-based strategies, to identify high-potential leads and achieve/exceed sales goals. Collaborate for Opportunities:
Work closely with external sources, internal CS and Sales Reps to uncover new opportunities within large existing clients. Leverage Technical Resources:
With sales engineering support, make the most of each client meeting, ensuring a strategic approach to all opportunities. Own the MEDDPICC Plan:
Complete and maintain MEDDPICC plans with detailed notes after each meeting. Close Deals with Support:
Prepare presentations, proposals, SOWs, and Order Forms with the support of technical resources, legal teams and lead negotiations to finalize agreements. Internal Collaboration:
Develop strong relationships with supporting teams to align on sales success. Market Expansion & Competitive Positioning Actively engage in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and increase Whip Media’s visibility among target audiences. Market and Competitor Insight:

Document all forms of contact information and follow-up actions from each networking event to ensure proper qualification and continuity. Client Travel and Event Attendance:

What You Will Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 5+ years of selling and achieving target goals in enterprise SaaS, focusing on new business hunting and upselling/cross-selling to major clients. Proven Experience using the MEDDPICC Sales Methodology. A sales “hunter” mentality that is a self starter, takes the initiative, is relentless, and thrives on closing deals.
