We are seeking a motivated accounting professional ready to advance their career to a Senior Accountant position. The ideal candidate will perform journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards. This individual must be highly detail-oriented and accurate in data entry. This is a long-term career opportunity requiring significant experience.
Responsibilities
Complete journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform reconciliations and ensure they are in accordance with GAAP.
Handle month-end close processes.
Prepare and analyze balance sheets.
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
Manage general ledger entries and ensure their accuracy.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage statements.
Ensure accuracy and detail orientation in all data entry tasks.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in an accounting position.
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry role.
Proficiency in Epicore - ERP Software.
Experience with month-end close processes.
Strong skills in reconciliations and balance sheet preparation.
Experience working with publicly traded companies.
Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with general ledger management.
Ability to handle bank statements and related reconciliations.
Proficiency in preparing and managing journal entries.
Work Environment
This role is fully on-site in Boise, ID, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We offer a range of benefits including three medical benefits, free dental, long and short-term disability, tuition reimbursement, insurance health plans, PTO, and quarterly and end-of-year bonuses typically around $10,000 per year.
