About the Job
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) nursing. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work on various units, including BMT(14 & 15W James), where you will be responsible for caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other oncology treatments. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in MS and oncology nursing, with a strong focus on providing individualized care to patients with complex diagnoses such as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult), Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia, Chronic Leukemia, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders, and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. You will also need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and manage Rapid Response Teams.
