The Role: Lateral Associate - Labor & Employment | New York, NY
We are seeking an experienced and driven Lateral Associate specializing in Labor & Employment to join a distinguished team in New York, NY. This position focuses primarily on employer-side litigation, with opportunities to provide advisory services and conduct investigations.
In this position, you will:
- Represent clients in class and representative actions, including wage and hour disputes and discrimination cases.
- Advise clients on labor and employment matters and conduct investigations as needed.
- Draft and execute litigation strategies, including drafting motions and briefs.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide top-tier legal services.
Were looking for candidates who bring:
- Experience: Law school graduate from 20162020 with at least three years of experience at a peer law firm specializing in labor and employment law. Experience in class actions is highly preferred.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Expertise: Strong expertise in employer-side litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Additional Qualifications: Proven ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.
