A law firm in San Diego is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a strong interest in working on behalf of public agencies. Administrative hearing experience is a plus. The candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, as well as strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Duties:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to public agencies in labor and employment matters.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
- Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings and other proceedings.
- Advise clients on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in labor and employment law.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
- Strong interest in labor and employment law and working with public agencies.
- Administrative hearing experience is a plus.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the State Bar of California.
Skills:
