The Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) is a pivotal member of Precise Software Solutions' Leadership Team, responsible for advancing innovative solutions to support our government clients. This role requires blending expertise in aligning innovation strategy to business and corporate growth goals, business processes, cutting-edge technology, and federal agency operations. Reporting to the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, the CIO collaborates with Business Development (BD) leaders, Business Unit leaders, Capture teams, and Delivery teams to drive growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Drive corporate capabilities in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and other innovative solutions aligned with customer missions.
  • Introduce forward-thinking innovations to influence government leaders and shape the Federal system integrator market.

Customer Relationship and Growth Management:

  • Collaborate with solution leads, Capture teams, and support teams to develop innovation pipeline, pursue opportunities, pricing strategies, and proposal development.
  • Position Precise's solutions to government clients, enhancing market presence and driving growth.
  • Influence marketing and communications strategies to promote Precise's innovative solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and lead pre-capture activities for emerging technology opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key federal agency officials, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent Precise as a Technical SME at industry events, conferences, and agency initiatives.

Technical Expertise and Collaboration:

  • Provide technical guidance to delivery teams and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Serve as a Technical SME, consulting on solution development with Business Unit and delivery teams.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing government and healthcare IT systems with advanced solutions.

Innovation and Prototyping:

  • Develop solutions and prototypes for digital modernization, integrating emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven tools, data management platforms, cloud infrastructure).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in private sector, government, or both, with deep familiarity with Federal Health solutions and technologies.
  • Proven expertise in IT solutioning and consulting, with a track record of leading large-scale innovations.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare IT regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of Federal procurement practices and business development life cycle.
  • Established relationships with federal government officials, industry partners, and preferred vendors in Federal markets.
  • Demonstrated success in solutioning and market shaping, resulting in Federal h market wins.
