Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years. Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience preferred. License: - Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) Must-Have: - Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - Participation in Winter Plan Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and adjust ventilator settings as required. - Educate and support families, providing guidance and emotional support during the care continuum. - Maintain accurate medical records and document care in compliance with hospital standards. - Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities. - Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills to enhance patient care and safety.
