Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: CA RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (All certifications must be AHA certified) Must-Have: Comfort with caring for babies and delivered mothers Job Description: - Work three 12-hour night shifts per week in an Obstetrics Acute OB setting. - Require experience with Epic charting (preferred). - Participate in a 16-hour orientation period. - Complete non-billable modules during orientation, with an average of 1-5 hours spent on e-learning modules. - Provide compassionate and excellent care to labor and delivery patients, including postpartum mothers and newborns. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in labor and delivery practices, ensuring high-quality care. - Uphold professional standards and comply with all hospital policies and procedures. - Remain adaptable and ready to respond to the dynamic needs of the unit, including variable patient acuity levels.
