Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience License: CA RN Licensure required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Epic charting experience preferred - Could be required to float to other campuses for support if/when census permits within scope of practice - Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of signing - Ability to work every other weekend rotation Job Description: - Provides competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with unit, department, hospital policies, scientific principles, evidence-based nursing practice/process, nursing objectives, and standards of care - Participate in required orientation and complete non-billable modules, averaging 1-5 hours, during orientation - Return staff policy requires a one-year absence before returning as a traveler Additional Notes: - Candidate must comply with return staff policy and modules are completed during orientation - COVID-19 and Flu vaccine status unknown - Background check must be clear prior to submission; any background hits or DUIs should be noted
