LHH is on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client’s accounting team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, proficient with numbers, and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain precise financial records.
- Efficiently process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Consistently reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and systematically organize financial documents and files.
- Prepare invoices and process payments promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Professionally address internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
- Provide support for additional administrative tasks as required by the accounting team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
