Job Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant; Technical Accounting Consultant in Irvine, CA to provide expertise in researching and resolving complex accounting issues. This role will be critical in analyzing technical accounting matters and effectively communicating conclusions across the organization. CPA certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and provide guidance on complex technical accounting issues in compliance with GAAP and the Accounting Standards Codification (ASC).

• Collaborate with multiple departments to gather financial and operational information relevant to technical accounting matters.

• Draft technical memos and documentation to support accounting positions and conclusions.

• Communicate complex accounting issues clearly and effectively to non-accounting personnel and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in technical accounting or a similar role.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and the Accounting Standards Codification (ASC).

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex accounting topics.

• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with non-accounting teams.

Education and Certification:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

• License: CPA certification required.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $52.60 per hour
